Sample Dalmatian wine

Away from the gentle chaos of Stradun, D’vino is a lovely place to sit down with a glass or two of local vino. Whether you are a novice or expert, staff at D’vino are happy to share knowledge about Croatian wine and offer up a few suggestions based on your preferences.

There’s a staggering amount of the stuff packed into this little shop-cum-bar, with over a hundred domestic varieties to sample. Much of the produce comes from vineyards on the nearby Peljesac peninsula and Korcula island – including the must-try Plavac mali by Frano Miloš winery, a succulent red, produced from its namesake grape, an ancient species native to Dalmatia.
