Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What's the weather like in Sicily in August?
As the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, Sicily has a typical Mediterranean climate with long, hot summers and short, cool winters. In August, Sicily is hot and sunny, ideal for relaxing on the beautiful beaches, swimming in the clear blue seas or exploring the island further inland. It’s the height of the season at this time of year, so resorts will be at their busiest in August.
Averages
Sicily is hot over the month of August, with average highs of 30°C in the peak of the day and lows of 19°C after dark. With such high temperatures during the day, you’ll need to stay safe by seeking shade between 11am and 3pm, wearing plenty of sun cream and staying well hydrated. Around 15mm of rain’s expected over the course of the month so it’s unlikely wet weather will affect your stay. The Mediterranean waters are a beautifully warm 27°C, perfect for swimming and snorkelling.
