Tsilivi Water Park

Just follow the shrieks of joy and you'll find yourself at the Tsilivi water park. It's a fantastic day out for the kids, and with such beautiful surroundings, it's sure to be a hit with mums and dads too. Opened back in 2010, this park's provided years of fun for all the family, for tourists and locals alike, and is still as good today as it's always been.

Attractions to keep you cool

If you want to cool off from the Mediterranean sun, then riding the flumes here at the water park in Zante, Tsilivi is just the ticket. There are tons of things on offer here, so it's unlikely you'll ever hear those dreaded words from the kids: “I'm bored!”

If you want to treat your tiny tots to a fun-filled day, you're in luck. There's a whole pool dedicated entirely for little ones, with age-appropriate toys that squirt water, a pirate ship to climb, and smaller slides for them to enjoy.

For the more adventurous, there are plenty of flumes to ride. The Turbulence slide is amazing for adrenaline junkies and is the biggest and best ride in the whole park. It's an absolute must if you want to experience everything this place has to offer.

If you're feeling competitive, why not race your friends and family down the multi-slide? This is always a firm favourite with visitors. People spend hours trying to beat each other to the end of the slide. If you'd rather kick back and relax, then enjoy a comfortable ride along the lazy river. It's perfect for taking a brief moment away from the excitement of the slides.

Alternatively, you can take a dip in their regular swimming pool, and perhaps do a few lengths if you feel the need to work off some of your holiday calories.

Or maybe you'd prefer a quick session in the jacuzzi? There's nothing better than relaxing in the massaging bubbles of a hot tub. The wave machines are turned on throughout the day, and although it's fantastic fun for older kids, we don't recommend it for the tiny ones.

There are lifeguards on hand, but the waves can get quite big and powerful. When you're tired of the wave machines and slides, head to the roof garden and enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding area. The landscape from above is quite spectacular.

Food and drink

After a morning racing around the park, you're bound to work up an appetite. When you're ready to take a break, grab a table in the restaurant and enjoy a bite to eat. Alternatively, you can order a few tasty treats from the pool bar. While you're there, you can sample one of their delicious cocktails; their menu is massive, so one of these tipples is bound to tickle your fancy.

Practical info

If you're not staying in the town of Tsilivi but still want to enjoy a day at the water park, then there are plenty of companies who provide coach tours to and from various hotels. Just ask at your hotel's reception for more details and see if you can book a trip. If you're taking little ones who might feel they're too old to enjoy the kiddie pool, then check their heights before you go, as most of the larger slides have height restrictions.
