No holiday to Ibiza would be complete without exploring the island's famous old town. Situated in Ibiza Town itself, Dalt Vila (as it's otherwise known) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that takes you back through 2,500 years of fascinating history. As you wander the quaint and narrow cobbled streets, the party atmosphere associated with Ibiza will seem like a million miles away and you'll feel as if you've stepped back in time.
You'll need sensible shoes and plenty of water and sun cream as you make your way up the steep streets to the different levels of the town, as it can get very hot here. Dalt Vila literally translates as 'Upper Town', so unsurprisingly you can expect to find incredible panoramic views of your surroundings as a reward for reaching the top.
While you're up there, take a look around the beautiful cathedral and the battlements with all the canons still in place. Then on your way down, browse the unique craft and gift shops and take advantage of a well-earned rest in one of the many tempting restaurants.
