Getting around Kissimmee

By car: Driving is by far the easiest and most flexible way to get to wherever you want to go in Kissimmee, Orlando and beyond. The Osceola Parkway (Toll Road 522) will take you straight to Walt Disney World Resort, and there’s parking at all major attractions.

By taxi: There are plenty of taxi services in the Kissimmee and Orlando area, particularly handy if you’re planning a night out. You can even hire a limo to make a big entrance.

By bus: Public transport is available around Florida, with buses operated by Lynx. Fares are very reasonably priced.

Start Your Engines: The Saturday Nite Car Cruise Citrus Parade is a major highlight of Old Town Kissimmee’s charm. Classic cars drive down Main Street as different entertainers perform for onlookers.

Rodeo-time: Rodeos are a must-see in this old ranching area. The biggest events are the Silver Spurs rodeos at Osceola Heritage Park in February and June.
